At the beginning of 2020 when the Covid pandemic started, we knew we weren't the type of family to just sit around the house and do nothing, so we began looking for ways to keep us busy while still being safe. We had been in the show cattle industry as "Cornell Cattle" for 10 years at this point and thought raising another species of animal may be fun. We did some research and came up with the idea to raise goats. My family had dabbled goats growing up, even raising some show goats back in the day. The breed that stuck out to us was Nigerian Dwarf goats. They are known for their amazing milk production as well as their even tempers and playful personalities. What more could you ask for?
